Just a few hours after Mayam Sanda was sentenced to death by a Federal High Court in FCT, Abuja, for allegedly killing her husband, the special assistant to Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari on new media, Bashir Ahmad described the incidents as devastating and traumatic as well.

Bashir Ahmad said this in a recent Twitter post on his official account on Monday, January 27, while adding that only Allah could strengthen the couple’s families. Maryam Sanda was sentenced to death on Monday, January 27, after she was found guilty beyond reasonable doubt of killing her husband.
Bashir Ahmad, however, stressed that it would be sad for Maryam Sanda’s daughter to know later in life that her mother killed her father and that the court as a matter of penalty sentenced her to death.
I feel so sorry and sad for Maryam Sanda’s daughter, growing up to understand such devastating incidences will not going to be easy. May Allah give her the strength and be with her. Thoughts and prayers have been with Bilyaminu and Maryam’s families. May Allah comfort them.

Bashir Ahmad’s major worry lies on the fact that it may be very devastating to the daughter of the man who was killed by the wife and the wife who’s been sentenced to death for killing her husband when she grows up while adding that it’s only Allah that can give her strength to bear the saddest story.

Bashir Ahmad assures that thoughts and prayers have been with Bilyaminu and Maryam’s families since the incident happened.
Relating the tweet, “I feel so sorry and sad for Maryam Sanda’s daughter, growing up to understand such devastating incidences will not going to be easy. May Allah give her the strength and be with her. Thoughts and prayers have been with Bilyaminu and Maryam’s families. May Allah comfort them,” Bashir Ahmad twitted.
