President Muhammadu Buhari reportedly held a closed-door meeting with former Nigerian president Goodluck Ebele Jonathan at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

According to Channels TV, the meeting follows President Buhari’s crucial meeting with the country’s service chiefs over the rising level of insecurity throughout Nigeria.
Media reports pointed that Jonathan was spotted on his way to the office of the president for the meeting which began by 1:45 pm.

There has not been any statement released officially as to why the meeting was held, we still look forward to a briefing from the presidency.
