Cardi B has announced the birth of her second child with her husband Offset, a baby boy.
Cardi, 28, took to her social media account to caption a photo of her holding the baby with Offset, 29, by her right-hand side in the hospital on Monday writing, “9/4/21.”
The “WAP” hitmaker and her Migos member husband told millions of their fans that they were “overjoyed to finally meet” their son.
In a statement that was spotted on People, the celebrity couple said, “He is already loved so much by family and friends. We can’t wait to introduce him to his other siblings.”
Cardi B who goes by the name Belcalis Almánzar also has a 3-year-old daughter Kulture, with Offset whose real name is Kiari Cephus.
Offset is also a father to three other children from his previous relationships, they’re Jordan, 11, Kody, 6, and Kalea, 6.
We first learned of Cardi B’s pregnancy in July after she announced that she was expecting a second child by posting a near-nude photo of herself covered in white paint and holding her baby bump.
The same day, she debuted her baby bump at the BET Awards in a Dolce & Gabbana cutout bodysuit covered in beaded sparkles. The new mom then took the stage with her husband Offset and his group for a performance.
During the August 31 appearance, Cardi who was still heavily pregnant rocked a bright pink sweatsuit with a Gucci belt and, of course, exposed her baby bump under a white T-shirt.
Cardi B and Offset got married secretly in 2017 and separated briefly in 2020 before Cardi decided to withdraw her divorce papers, stating that every woman needs a man.
