Huma Abedin in a new book she has released has said that she was once assaulted by a US Senator and was afterward shaken that she ended up apologizing to the senator.

Abedin explained that it was after a dinner attended by a couple of senators and their associates that the incident took place.
The estranged wife of serial pervert and ex-con former New York Congressman Anthony Weiner said she had represented Clinton who was not present at the event.
“I ended up walking out with one of the senators, and soon we stopped in front of his building and he invited me in for coffee,” Abedin said, adding that “Once inside, he told me to make myself comfortable on the couch.”
She said the senator then, at that point, removed his jacket and chatted with her as he rolled up his sleeves and made coffee.
The senator thereafter “plopped down to my right, put his left arm around my shoulder, and kissed me, pushing his tongue into my mouth, pressing me back on the sofa,” she narrated.
She said the attempt left her in rude shock and she drove the senator away and that all she “wanted was for the last 10 seconds to be erased.”
The former Clinton associate said she remained friendly with the senator after avoiding him for a couple of days.
Abedin said she covered the episode in her memory until charges of attempted rape arose against then-Supreme Court candidate Brett Kavanaugh in the fall of 2018.
