Ferrari launched its first new supercar in almost a decade on Thursday, and it has already sold out. The Italian luxury sports vehicle manufacturer unveiled the F80, which combines characteristics from endurance racing and Formula One.

Ferrari stated it would only make 799 of the special-edition cars, and each has already been reserved, despite the $3.9 million base price.

The F80 has a six-cylinder, three-liter full-hybrid engine producing 1,200 horsepower, racing brake pads, cutting-edge active suspension, and ultralight 3D-printed metal elements, including suspension arms.

The F80 “is the car which raises the bar of our range,” Chief Marketing and Commercial Officer Enrico Galliera said during its presentation in the Ferrari hometown of Maranello. “It’s a car we hope will make history in coming years.”

Ferrari’s so-called supercars are high-end special models that are introduced once every decade and have cutting-edge technological innovations.

The most current Ferrari supercar was the LaFerrari, which debuted in 2013, with the open-top LaFerrari Aperta version following in 2016. The first was the GTO, which debuted 40 years ago.

Although new, the F80’s engine is built on the same architecture used by Ferrari in the World Endurance Championship, where it has won the last two 24 Hours of Le Mans, and incorporates Formula 1 innovations.

It has a top speed of 350 kph (about 217 mph).
