Popstar Britney Spears, 39, couldn’t hold her excitement as she takes to her social media account to announced on Thursday that she finally owns an iPad… Really!!
“OK, guys, great news. I got my first iPad today. I am so excited,” the embattled singer exulted in a video she shared to her Instagram account.

Britney revealed to millions of her fans that, while her sons, Sean Preston, 15, and Jayden James, 14, “have owned one” for a while, she herself has never owned an Apple tablet.
Britney continued, “This is just a groundbreaking day. I’ve always had a little phone, but now this iPad is in my hands, and I feel like my life is changing as we speak, and I am so excited. Upward bound, yes!”
The singer finished the video with a short clip of herself executing a few of foot routines while wearing a black jacket and bright pink shoes.
She questioned, mimicking the sobriety test scene from the 2011 film “Bridesmaids,” “Could I do this if I was drunk, huh?”
Alongside the video, Britney penned, “My life does seem different with an iPad… I’ve never had one before!!!! Pssss I was proud of my new shoes at the end … I had to recreate the scene from Bridesmaids!!!!”
In June, the Grammy winner went public with her fight to end her father, Jamie’s, controversial conservatorship. She has accused him of abusing her and exerting total control over her life, including her bank accounts and even her birth control.
She has been more open on social media since then. Spears shared a video of herself painting an abstract piece at home last month. At the time, part of her caption read, “This is an expression of how I’m feeling at the moment … rebellious… colorful…bright…bold …spontaneous…magical…so obviously showing my true colors!!!!”
The “Crossroads” star has also recently raised eyebrows with a string of topless photos, four in a row. While some fans praised the singer for her newfound freedom on social media at first, others became concerned as the situation progressed.
