Riley Keough, Elvis Presley’s granddaughter, was named sole trustee of her late mother, Lisa Marie Presley’s, estate today. The nomination was granted by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Lynn Healey Scaduto at a hearing on Friday.
In January, Priscilla Presley filed a petition to contest the legality of her late daughter Lisa Marie’s will. The lawsuit arose from a 2016 change to Lisa Marie’s will that removed Priscilla as trustee of the estate.

According to Priscilla Presley’s solicitors, she was only made aware of the “purported 2016 amendment” after Lisa Marie died. Lawyers further claim that the modification was never handed to Lisa Marie during her lifetime.
The amendment removes Priscilla and Lisa Marie’s former business manager, Barry Siegel, as co-trustees and replaces them with Lisa Marie’s eldest children Riley and Benjamin Keough, who died in 2020.
On June 12, Daisy Jones & the Six Stars filed a 73-page petition in support of her selection to lead what the family has named the Promenade Trust.
Keough had previously negotiated an agreement with the guardian’s ad litem for her two younger half-siblings, 14-year-old twins Harper and Finley Lockwood, Priscilla Presley, and Michael Lockwood. Lisa Marie’s fourth spouse before they split was Lockwood.

Keough, whose true name is Danielle Riley Keough, will also preside over sub-trusts for her half-sisters.
Priscilla Presley will be an additional advisor to the trust and will be paid every month. Priscilla Presley will also be allowed to be cremated at Graceland, Elvis Presley’s old home in Memphis, Tennessee, which Keough will presently possess.
