The Era Of Mourinho Begins As He Starts Tottenham Transformation

New Tottenham Spurs club manager Jose Mourinho has wasted no time in his transformation squad marking a new era as he looks to restore both his and the teams former glory.

Before he sealed his deal with Tottenham, Mourinho made sure that England captain Harry Kane would remain at the club for at least another 18 months. The England skipper has played a crucial role in Tottenham’s previous success under the helm of Mauricio Pochettino.

According to ‘Wales Online’ , Mourinho is looking to make Gareth Bales his first major signing for Spurs.

As reported earlier, Tottenham’s Christian Eriksen, Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld were considering leaving the side at the end of the season. Mourinho seems to have no problem letting the players go f they are unwilling to be part of the great plans he has in store for the team.

22 year old Benefica defender Ruben Dias has already been linked as one of the Spurs targets during the transfer window as a replacement for Toby Alderweield. This aquisition could cost them £59 million.

Tottenham also have their eyes on Ajax’s Hakim Ziyech next summer as a possible replacement for Christian Eriksen alongside Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini. Nipoli and Milan also have their eyes set on signing Ziyech but Mourinho may be the trump card that Tottenham need to get the Moroccan international to sign with them.

Mourinho is also waiting for the green light to resume talks with Pablo Dybala in a move that would the Juventus forward joining the Tottenham side.  Sporting CP midfielder Bruno Fernandes is rumoured to be on Mourinho’s radar.

Mourinho has also taken to make changes tot he teams backroom by adding Joao Sacramento, Carlos Lalin, Nuno Santos, Ricardo Formosinho and Giovanni Cerra as part of his new coaching staff.

Lille’s sporting director has also made a public statement saying that he would consider joining Mourinho at Spurs if the Portuguese national invites him to take up the role as sporting director for the team. in a recent interview he stated that:

“I know him very well and for a long time. He’s a wonderful person and the best coach in the world. So, of course, if he called me I would speak.”
